Hosted at the Puerto Rico Convention Center, the Animus Summit<\/a> is the largest Women Summit of the Americas. Animus is for women from all walks of life \u2013 speakers, entrepreneurs, professionals, students, influencers \u2013 anyone who wants to be inspired by the woman next to them. With an attendance of 1000 women, and 26 incredible speakers, the energy and support in the room was incredible! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Animus core values are to collaborate, connect, educate, empower, innovate, and lead! This year the summit gathered inspiring women such as Robyn Moreno, Latina leader and Emmy nominated TV Host; Charo Henr\u00edquez-Scaia, senior editor of Digital Transition Strategy at The New York Times; Veronica Chambers, afro-latina and co-author of four New York Times bestsellers; and Shailee Basnet, who climbed the Everest mount and founded an organization to help women trafficked to become Himalayan mountain guides. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Introduced by Greetchen D\u00edaz, Ambassador of the American Association for the Advancement of Science<\/a> and an advocate of inspiring girls and women in STEM, Silvina Moschini, founder and CEO of SheWorks!, and expert in digital transformation, delivered a keynote on how to embrace technology and use it as a catalyst for exponential growth for your business. By leveraging cloud technology any business can have access to the best talent, and empower women from around the globe with flexible and digital working opportunities that fit their lifestyle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, on November 14, Silvina talked on technologies to manage remote teams at Parallel18<\/a>, an initiative to encourage and promote innovators and startups to scale from Puerto Rico and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
