The Forum will address ways in which the business community can play a pivotal role as champions of women\u2019s and girls\u2019 empowerment. It will also explore how to measure outcomes of initiatives to support women and girls and how to use data to drive discourse and action.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This Forum is taking place during the <\/span><b>Commission on the Status of Women, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">which is the principal global intergovernmental body exclusively dedicated to the promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women at the UN. The theme for the sixty-first session of CSW is women\u2019s economic empowerment in the changing world of work, which coincides with the objective of SheWorks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unveiling of SheWorks! will occur during \u201cTracking Inclusion and Equality in the Workforce\u201d session, scheduled for 4:50 p.m. \u2013 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14 at the Trusteeship Council Chamber of the UN HQ. Moderated by Irene Natividad, President, Global Summit of Women, this session will be analyzing the factors that impede women\u2019s ability to join or stay in the workforce and gender-friendly policies that support women\u2019s participation.
